From Tears of Distress to Delirium for Richarlison

Richarlison came close to missing Qatar 2022, but he wound up being Brazil’s star of the opening game.
Richarlison’s face was dripping with tears. He was inconsolable.
He had sacrificed blood, sweat, and tears to earn a spot on the Brazil team. Then the XI, but Tite was using crutches three weeks prior to announcing his team for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

In the first half, Richarlison, in typical Richarlison fashion, careered over the Lusail Stadium field, harrying defenders and inducing turnovers of possession. The second 45 focused on his excellence and opportunism, while the first 45 showed his desire and indomitability.
Just after the hour mark, Richarlison reacted to a rebound to put Brazil ahead from close range. He completed a spectacular bicycle kick to seal the deal eleven minutes later. Richarlison’s dreamed-about moment, the one he believed had vanished, was even better than he could have imagined.
“I’m so happy for him,” Antony told FIFA+. “He deserves it because he’s a wonderful person. You give Richarlison a chance, and he takes advantage of it by scoring. You should go watch him train. He shoots in all directions and at various angles. He is a fantastic athlete.”
“His performance was outstanding,” added I want to congratulate Fred. He scored two goals, which is not easy for a World Cup debutant. The fact that we prevailed is what matters most. The performance was excellent.”
