Olympian Brooks Curry Partners With Nonprofit to Give Free Swimming Lessons Nationwide

National learn-to-swim nonprofit, Tankproof and gold medalist (2020 Tokyo Olympics), Brooks Curry are partnering to bring the life-saving gift of swimming to communities all over the this summer in the USA.

Eight markets, including Louisiana, Austin, Dallas/Plano, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Nashville, and Brooklyn, are among those where Tankproof plans to offer free swimming lessons.

“The working relationship with Brooks is truly “golden.” Partnering with an individual with his accolades and personal passion for community is the perfect combination,” says Tankproof co-founder, Torrence Thomas.

Co-founder Thurman Thomas adds, “The fact that Brooks lived in Baton Rouge for a long time—the city where our organization was founded—is so remarkable. We are directly connected to working together with him to transform lives.”
