Running for a Cause on Memorial Day

Local runners, almost 150 strong, gathered at Springdale Cemetery on Monday to take part in the “Memorial Day Salute” 5K Run
The local veterans in need of home repairs will receive the money raised during the run.
The Fuller Center for Housing claims to be still operating with only volunteers after carrying out its all-volunteer mission for several years.
“Our sixth year without the three Covids is now. It’s incredible to see people sign up and to watch it grow more exciting every year. it’s just an amazing event,” said The event’s coordinator is Debbie Gaught.
To support local veterans, the group aims to raise $8,000 to $10,000.
