U.S. Ski & Snowboard Extends Partnership With NBC Sports Through 2025

Media rights have been extended between NBC Sports and U.S. Ski & Snowboard through the 2025 campaign. In accordance with the recently extended contract, NBC Sports will broadcast 19 hours of coverage of all eight domestic FIS World Cup competitions on various platforms, including live and delayed broadcasts on NBC, CNBC, and Peacock. There are a record number of U.S. players in the 2022–23 season.-based alpine events, including favorites the New events at Aspen, Palisades Tahoe, and the Heroic Killington Cup are also coming up.

“We are thrilled to extend our agreement with NBC Sports to broadcast our domestic events, especially at a time when the United States is hosting the most World Cups. the soil this coming season,” said the President and CEO of U.S. Ski & Snowboard. “The United States Olympic team has historically received strong support from NBC. Ski & Snowboard alpine, cross country, freestyle, snowboard, and Freeski events for more than a decade, and we are thrilled to continue this partnership so our ardent supporters can watch our athletes throughout the ensuing seasons.”

All eight domestic FIS World Cups will be broadcast on NBC Sports platforms during the 2022–2023 season, per the new rights agreement. The four alpine World Cups are the Heroic Killington Cup (women), Xfinity Birds of Prey (men), Aspen World Cup (men), and Palisades Tahoe World Cup (men), which are held in Olympus Valley, California, Beaver Creek, Colorado, and Killington, Vermont, respectively. The Intermountain FIS Freestyle International at Deer Valley Resort in Deer Valley, Utah, and three FIS Freeski and Snowboard World Cup competitions—the Toyota Grand Prixs at Mammoth Mountain, California, and Copper Mountain, Colorado, and the Visa Big Air presented by Toyota at Copper Mountain, Colorado—will also be covered.

The first U.S. World Cup to be covered is the Heroic Killington Cup on November 26, with the second run being broadcast LIVE on NBC and Peacock.
